What Our Customers Say...

Description

Illustrated, Leather Binding, Limited Edition, Pleasing Copy, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, Very Scarce

An extremely scarce volume, only printed in fifty copies, of this interesting book comprising a miscellany of Corps Nostalgia, being extracts from the journals of the Army Service Corps, Royal Army Service Corps, and Royal Corps of Transport, over a century of publication, from 1891 to 1991.

This is copy number forty three of fifty printed, signed by Lieutenant Colonel M H G Young, the editor.

This collection aims to provide a wider choice of extracts for those who do not have access to the Corps archives. These extracts are highly interesting as they report personal experiences, incidents, and personalities from the past. Most extracts are short and offer brief glimpses of the Corps' past.

Profusely illustrated throughout with various advertisements from the time and facsimile of pages from the journals.

Condition

In the original publisher full leather binding. Externally, lovely with minor shelfwear only. Signed by the author to the introduction page. Small bookbinder sticker to the rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are extremely bright and clean. Illustrated with facsimile extracts from the journals throughout.
