Carlos Fuentes is seen as one of the most admired writers in the Spanish-speaking world. He was also an important influence on the Latin American Boom, which was the influx of Latin American literature in the 1960's and 1970's. His high-profile affairs with actreses Jeanne Moreau and Jean Seberg inspired his novel 'Diana: The Goddess who Hunts Alone'. 'The Crystal Frontier' is a series of short stories which explores relationships between people of Mexico and the United States. All volumes are first editions of the English translations.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. With original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Dustwrappers are also excellent with little to no shelfwear. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
