First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

This is a first Peter Owen Edition of Bram Stoker's Midnight Tales, edited and with an introduction by Peter Haining. 

Bram Stoker was an Irish author, celebrated for his Gothic horror tale Dracula with Stoker being an early master of the horror genre.

Some of the short stories in this collection had not been reprinted since their original magazine publication and include The Specter of Doom, Death in the Wings, The Squaw and A Criminal Start. 

With illustrations throughout the text and in the unclipped dustwrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with some light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original unclipped dustwrapper which remains smart with a few marks to the wraps.
