Colonel Thomas Edward Lawrence (1888-1935) was a British army officer, diplomat and archaeologist renowned for the role he played during the Arab Revolt (1916-1918). The scope of his work and his writings inspired the nickname 'Lawrence of Arabia'. His autobiography 'Seven Pillars of Wisdom' was adapted into the film 'Lawrence of Arabia' in 1962.
This is a reprint of the 1989 first edition of this work.
Complete with an unclipped dust wrapper.
Illustrated with photographs and illustrations throughout.

In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with just a little wear to the extremities and head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
