What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

First edition. The third novel in the To the Ends of the Earth trilogy of nautical, relational novels. Includes Talbot's maturing and his growing admiration for the Prettimans, a married couple; the rivalry between the two principal officers, Summers and Benet, for Captain Anderson's respect and trust; and the conclusion to Edmund's affaire de coeur with Miss Chumley. Written by Sir William Gerald Golding, a British novelist, playwright, and poet best known for his debut novel Lord of the Flies. He was awarded the 1983 Nobel Prize in Literature.

Condition

In the original black cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart with light sunning to the extremities and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
