What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Dustwrapper

First edition, first printing of Outbursts by Oliver Walston in the original publisher's binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Signed and inscribed by the author.

These articles were written over a period of twelve years, starting a few months before the Great Drought of 1976. Walston records and chronicle these years for farmers and notes the difficulty of sustaining an agricultural way of life.

Signed to the title page and to the first free endpaper with an inscription. Appears to be for the author's wife/partner for an anniversary gift:
'For Nancy, after almost a quarter of a century and many Chinese meals, love Ol, September 10 1991.'

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. There is some slight wear to the edges of the dust wrapper and to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
