Iris Murdoch is a well respected novelist of the twentieth century, writing novels on a variety of subjects , including morality, good and evil, and sexual relationships. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart. Some very minor edgewear. Light fold to the front wrap. A little fading to the wraps. Small amount of loss of paper to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small bump to the tail of the first few pages.
