The magazine was founded in America in 1885 and achieved a circulation of 300,000 by 1911. Good Housekeeping was first published in Britain in 1922 and was extremely popular. The readership of the magazine as a whole had topped one million by the mid 1920s. Many famous writers have contributed to the magazine including Virginia Woolf and Evelyn Waugh.

Condition

In cloth bindings in original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, in excellent condition with just some minor shelfwear. Dustwrappers in excellent condition with slight tidemarks to base of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
