A lovely first edition of this pop-up version of the charming children's tale, The Snowman.
With six pages of folding pop-ups which are beautifully preserved. The musical element however no longer works.
Raymond Briggs was an English illustrator, cartoonist and author. His illustrated children's story The Snowman is a household favourite and was adapted into an animated television film which is regularly shown at Christmas.
A wonderfully charming pop-up book.
Condition
In the publisher's original hardback binding. Externally, generally lovely with some light creasing to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with all pages intact and bright and clean.
