The first edition thus of this single volume collection of short stories from English radio and TV comedy scriptwriter Peter Tinniswood. With numerous humorous vignette illustrations throughout, and in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.

A single volume containing both 'The Brigadier's Brief Lives' and 'The Brigadier's Tour', consisting of humorous tales following the character 'Brigadier', an erstwhile cricketer and over-the-top raconteur.

With a contemporary review to the dust wrapper identifying the work as 'original, hilarious, crazy and comic'.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, exceptionally bright. Dust wrapper in fine condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned to perimeters due to paper type, but otherwise clean and bright.
