A beautifully illustrated first edition of this work on Monet and Venice. Philippe Piguet is a professor of art history and art critic who specialises in the Impressionist period and particularly in the works of Claude Monet.

Condition

In a blue cloth binding in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart with some dampstaining and rubbing. Dustwrapper smart with some tidemarks, slight loss and a closed tear to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
