This heavily illustrated work was created by Gertrude Jekyll, a British horticulturist, photographer and garden designer. The work features a large collection of photographs by Jekyll depicting ornamental gardens and decorative elements such as entrance gateways, balustrades, orangeries and much more.

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is excellent with slight sunning to the odd slight mark to the spine, with a closed tear to the head. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
