First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Illustrated with monochrome photographs throughout. Lester Piggott was a professional jockey who won nine Epsom Derbies during his career. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest flat racing jockeys. Dick Francis was a crime writer, who wrote a lot novels horse racing, as he used to be a jockey. Some of his other books include 'Dead Cart', 'Nerve', 'High Stakes', and 'Smokescreen'.

Condition

In a black cloth binding with original clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart, Some light bumping to the boards. Dustwrapper is smart, though with some edgewear and sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with just a few instances of foxing.
