First UK edition. Illustrated with twenty-eight photographs on plates. Collated complete. A nonfiction book on the rivalry between bullfighters Luis Miguel Dominguín and his brother-in-law, Antonio Ordóñez, during the summer of 1959. It has been cited as Hemingway's last book. Written by Ernest Hemingway, an American novelist, short-story writer, and journalist. His economical and understated style—which included his iceberg theory—had a strong influence on 20th-century fiction.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear only. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also excellent with light shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
