1985 The Beatles Story Pop-Up Book
What Our Customers Say...
Description
Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding
A very entertaining pop-up book which recounts the story of the rise to fame of the Beatles, from their days at the Cavern Club in Liverpool to their final rooftop performance at Apple Corps in 1969.
Told in five colourful pop-ups, all lavishly illustrated with John, Paul, George, and Ringo, as well as many easter eggs to the group's songs.
The pop-ups are in a good working condition, though the music to the final pop-up no longer works.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart, with a few light marks. Minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small closed tear to the first pop-up. The crowd to the left hand side of the second pop-up has ripped and is no longer standing up right, though the moving mechanism still works. Section missing from the fourth pop-up below the octopus. Blue Meanie's head to the fourth pop-up is detaching.
