Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece, many monochrome vignettes and twenty-two monochrome plates, with a folding map to the rear.

This uncommon work was written by Norman Heathcote, a British author, artist and photographer, and describes his travels to the Scottish Hebridean archipelago of St Kilda. The work describes the landscape and nature found on the island.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is very smart with sunning to the spine, the odd minor mark and slight edgewear. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
