Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

Illustrated throughout, by Mabel Lucie Attwell. Atwell is best known for her nostalgic drawings of children, based on her own daughter Peggy. The sixth impression of this reprinted form, which was originally published in 1979. This story, otherwise known as 'Peter Pan; Or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up' is J M Barrie's most famous work. It tells the tale of a mischievous boy who can fly and has many adventures on the island of Neverland.

Condition

In original pictorial cloth binding and held in original plastic wrap. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the head and tail of spine and to the extremities. Marks to the rear board. Original plastic wrap is chipped to the head and tail of spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Printer's error leading to some offsetting to pages 74-6. Pages are generally bright. Slight ageing to the edges with just the odd spot.
