Written by American novelist and essayist, Henry Miller, who was known for his semi-autobiographical works, which combined social criticism, reflection, character study, mysticism and sex.
'The Time of the Assassins' presents an interesting insight into Miller's spirituality. Inspired by Rimbaud, the French poet, Miller claimed to see him as a 'mirror', opening new worlds to him.
With an introduction by Anthony Burgess.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear only. Dust wrapper is smart, with light shelf wear and two small closed tears, one of which has tape repair to the reverse of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
