First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Most renowned for his debut novel, 'The Lord of the Flies', Sir William Golding (1911-1993) was a British novelist, awarded the Nobel Prize in LIterature in 1983 and the Booker Prize in 1980; he was also knighted in 1988. 'The Paper Men' follows Wilfred Barclay, a middle-aged writer with a drinking problem and a loveless marriage as he is hounded by a young professor keen to write his biography. 

This is a first edition, first impression.

Condition

In a full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, very minor bumping to the spine. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean, with a small crease to the front endpaper.
