Written by noted author Kenneth Grahame, most well-known for his work, The Wind in the Willows (1908). He originally wrote The Reluctant Dragon in 1898.
Enclosed in the original pictorial dust wrapper.
Containing a previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper: 'Lucy, from Mama and Papa xx, 15/4/84 Oliver's Christening'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart, with just some light age-toning and a few marks to the front of the wrap. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
