First US edition, first printing of Ronald Searle In Perspective, The Best of His Work: 1938-1985 in the original publisher's binding and dust wrapper.
The dust wrapper is clipped but with the price still showing.
This collection of work includes 217 illustrations throughout the text, mostly in colour with some in black and white.
Ronald Searle was an English artist and cartoonist. He is best remembered as the creator of St Trinian's School.
His work is versatile in its style and subject matter, and includes art from war still life's to children's animal cartoons.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding and dust wrapper. The dust wrapper is clipped but with the price still showing. Externally, very smart. The dust wrapper has some very slight wear to the extremities. There is some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
