What Our Customers Say...

John Piper (1903-1992) was an English painter and printmaker. His work often focused on the British landscape, especially churches and monuments, and included tapestry designs, book jackets, screen-prints, photography, fabrics and ceramics. This is Richard Ingram's study of John Piper's art, focusing on the landscapes and buildings of England and Wales, with reproductions of his aquatints, drawings, collages, oil paintings and watercolours. Some of the paintings were specially painted for this book, and many are reproduced for the first time.
