What Our Customers Say...
First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
The first edition. Handsomely bound in the original full cloth with gilt lettering, alongside the publisher's unclipped dust wrapper. With a photograph frontispiece and 92 full page plates. Collated complete. A fascinating insight into the cemeteries at the Qasr Ibrim archaeological site in Lower Nubia, Egypt. The site was an economic, political and religious centre from as early as the eighth century.
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent with little shelf wear. The original unclipped dust wrapper is in excellent condition. Minor shelf wear to the edges and only slight sunning to the spine. The odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
