What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
Oskar Schindler was a member of the Nazi Party who becomes an unlikely hero saving the lives of 1,100 Polish Jews during the Holocaust. Keneally describes real people and places, with fictional events and dialogue. The American edition of the book was named ‘Schindler’s List’ which became the title of the highly successful 1993 film adaptation. Dustwrapper is price-clipped. Keneally was inspired by the story of Polden Pfferberg, a Holocaust survivor and Schindlerjude who had previously tried on many occasions to interest screenwriters and filmmakers in Schindler’s story. Pfefferberg convinced Keneally to write this book, and became an advisor. A very smart copy of this important work, which tells the story of this historical figure.
