First Edition, Illustrated

Illustrations in colour. Ronald Searle was a British artist and satirical cartoon artist. He created the famous St Trinian's School and collaborated with Geoffrey Willans on the Molesworth series. Searle received many critical recognition for his work especially in America. He won the National Cartoonists Society's Advertising and Illustration Award in 1959 and 1965, The Reuben Award in 1960 and many more.

Condition

In the original illustrated boards. Externally, smart with minor bumping to the extremities as well as to the head and tail of spine. Spine is faded slightly. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
