Written by Charles Kingsley, an English broad church priest, professor, social reformer, historian, novelist, and poet who was associated with Christian socialism. Illustrated by Jessie Willcox Smith, an American illustrator of the Golden Age of American Illustration.
In the original green cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
