    Description

    First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Letter

    First limited edition of Sawas 1939-1947 Book of Thanks 1980 in the original publisher's imitation leather. 

    Limited to 700 copies, this is copy number 626. Includes a signed letter from the editor, Captain EAS Bailey. 

    A record of war service to give thanks. Includes a tribute message from the Queen Mother. 

    With monochrome illustrations throughout the text, two maps to the rear and a colour plate as the frontispiece.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's imitation leather. Externally, excellent. There is some very slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
