All volumes are complete with dustwrappers.  The dustwrapper design for 'License Renewed' is after a water colour painting by Richard Chopping.  Chopping illustrated the dustwrappers for the original Bond series, with his first being 'From Russia, With Love'. 'Ice Breaker' and 'For Special Services' dustwrappers are designed by Bill Botten in homage to the Chopping dustwrappers. Trevor Scobie designed the dustwrapper for 'Role of Honour'. All dustwrappers are unclipped.

With his continuation John Gardner intended to bring Bond to the 1980’s. He wrote sixteen ‘Bond’ books total.

In ‘License Renewed’ Bond infiltrates the castle of Dr Anton Murik, a nuclear physicist involved in terrorist schemes. In ‘For special services’ he teams up with a CIA agent, Cedar Leiter to investigate an individual under suspicion of reviving SPECTRE. For ‘Icebreaker’ Bond once again teams up with the CIA as well as the KGB, and Mossad. Their mission is to stop the leader of the National Socialist Action Army. In 'Role of Honour' Bond is accused of improprieties following a large inheritance. He is therefore fired from the British Secret Service and places his services on the open market. SPECTRE wish to hire Bond, and he joins them as a double agent.
