Robert Fordyce Aickman (1914-1981) was an English author of supernatural fiction, or 'strange stories', as he referred to them by. He wrote three novels and nine collections of short fiction, with this work being the final work published during his lifetime. 

An exciting collection by a reputable supernatural author.

Condition

In the publisher's original leatherette binding, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with very slight wear only. Library stamps to the front endpaper and verso of the title page. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
