First edition, first impression. Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs. A study of the work of Ernest Gimson, Ernest Barnsley and Sidney Barnsley, who were involved in furniture design and the revival of traditional crafts. Although they developed their own distinctive styles, the designs of all three of these architects were greatly influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement and their love of nature. Written by Mary Comino, an English art historian.
