'Moortown' is a poetical diary detailing everyday life living and working on a farm, based on Hughes' own experiences after marrying the farmer's daughter Carol Orchard in 1970.

With illustrations by Leonard Baskin.

Ted Hughes was one of the greatest poets of the twentieth century, known for being Poet Laureate for fourteen years, and for his ultimately unhappy marriage to Sylvia Plath.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, fine. Dustwrapper with some very minor edgewear and a touch of fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
