Charles Ricketts was a British artist, illustrator and printer, best known for his works as a book designer and typographer, as well as for his costume and scenery designs for plays and operas.
This work offers a profusely illustrated tour of Rickett's works, comprising over a hundred illustrations, including a monochrome frontispiece and six in colour.
Compiled by Stephen Calloway, a curator of paintings at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and expert on 19th century art.
Coloured illustrations collated, complete.
