This work provides an account of a voyage on the H.M.S Beagle compiled from passages from the 'Narrative' written by Captain Robert Fitzroy along with his letters and reports. The work also includes notes from the letters of the noted Charles Darwin and other people. The H.M.S Beagle was a ten gun brig-sloop ship belonging to the Royal Navy. The ship is best known for carrying the Charles Darwin around the world, which lead him to form his many scientific discoveries.

In the publisher's original illustrated cloth with the original slipcase. Externally lovely. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. The slipcase is lovely with only light edge wear.
