On the Edge of the Cliff 1979 - First edition; a collection of nine short stories, including 'The Spanish Bed' and 'Tea with Mrs. Bittell'.
On the Edge of the Cliff 1979 - Proof copy of the first edition. 

The Mythmakers 1979 - Proof copy of the first edition; the first volume of essays in fifteen years by Pritchett, with reviews of literary masters such as Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekov and Flaubert.

More Collected Stories 1983 - Advance copy, first edition; a selected twenty-four stories from various collections, with a monochrome photograph of Pritchett courtesy of the publisher, only to be used for reviews or promotion of the work.

A Man of Letters 1985 - First American edition; forty-six of Pritchett's critical essays drawn from his contributions to The New Yorker, New York Review of Books and the New Statesman.

At Home and Abroad 1989 - First edition; travel essays from Pritchett's time in places such as South America, Ireland and Portugal, with keen observations and commentary on the people and societies.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. In the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, all very smart with minor shelf wear to the extremities. Dust wrappers all have minor edge wear, otherwise in very smart condition. Proof copies in the publisher's paper binding. Both in excellent condition with minor edge wear. Mark to the tail of front cover of The Mythmakers. Internally, all firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Light spotting to the first few leaves of proof copy of On the Edge of the Cliff.
