Written by Ngaio Marsh, a crime writer from New Zealand, who is commonly known as one of the 'Queens of Crime', alongside Agatha Christie. Roderick Alleyn is her most famous character.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light edgewear to the dustwrapper, resulting in a couple of small closed tears. A little sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
