The first edition.

Signed by both Bernard Stone and Ralph Steadman to the title page, inscribed to an Abdullah. 

Bernard Stone's humorous tongue-in-cheek ode to the hospitals of London, in which mice take over the hospital overnight and set up their own emergency ward. 

Illustrated in colour throughout by Ralph Steadman.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart. A few minor marks to the boards, and a small dent in the shape of an arrow to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Signed to the title page, Steadman's signature has indented to the following few pages.
