Presenting this lovely, seven volume set of The Seafarer works, published in the 1970s and 1980s. These works were part of a twenty-three volume set exploring the trades, navies, and private individuals who accessed the seas and oceans around Europe through history. 

This set is comprised of: 
The Men-of-War, written by David Howarth and published in 1978. 
The Pirates, written by Douglas Botting and published in 1978. 
Fighting Sail, written by A.B.C. Whipple and published in 1978. 
The Great Liners, written by Melvin Maddocks and published in 1978. 
The Explorers, written by Richard Humble and published in 1978.
The Windjammers, written by Oliver E. Allen and published in 1978. 
The Venetians, written by Colin Thubron and published in 1980.

Each work contains numerous in-text illustrations throughout, many of which are in colour. The endpapers and pastedowns of each volume also depict maps for context. 

Uniformly bound in leatherette bindings, adorned with colour plates adhered to the front boards.

Condition

In the publisher's original full leatherette bindings adorned with colour plates adhered to the front boards. Externally, lovely, with just some very minor bumping to the extremities of some volumes. Internally, all volumes firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
