Sir Alexander Cuming (1691-1775) was a Scottish adventurer who travelled to the New World and coaxed the Cherokee tribe into declaring themselves loyal to the Crown of England. He sailed home accompanied by seven Indian men, who were poorly received by the King and became curiosities to the English people.
Written by William O. Steele (1917-1979), author of thirty-nine books, mostly being fiction and adventure stories.

Condition
In a full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper has a little general wear but is otherwise in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
