Renata Adler is an American author and journalist, known for her work as a staff writer for The New Yorker. Speedboat is one of two novels published by Adler, with much of the work originally featuring in The New Yorker. The novel is semi-autobiographical, focusing on the experiences of a young journalist living in New York. A smart copy of a scarce work.

In the original cloth binding in the original price clipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with minor shelf wear only.
