Written by Ngaio Marsh, a crime writer from New Zealand, who is commonly known as one of the 'Queens of Crime', alongside Agatha Christie. Roderick Alleyn is her most famous character.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, fine. Dustwrapper with very minor edgewear and a few light marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
