As the day progresses he undergoes a mild existential crisis pondering the seemingly pointless job he does each day. Written and illustrated by Raymond Briggs, an English illustrator, cartoonist, graphic novelist and author who has achieved critical and popular success. He is best known in Britain for his 1978 story The Snowman which is televised and the musical adaptation staged each Christmas.
