First edition. Illustrated with forty pages of colour images. A day in the life of Fungus the Bogeyman, a working class bogeyman with the mundane job of scaring human beings. As the day progresses he undergoes a mild existential crisis pondering the seemingly pointless job he does each day. Written and illustrated by Raymond Briggs, an English illustrator, cartoonist, graphic novelist and author who has achieved critical and popular success. He is best known in Britain for his 1978 story The Snowman which is televised and the musical adaptation staged each Christmas.
Condition
In the original pictorial paper covered binding. Externally, very smart with light bumping to the extremities and minor sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
