A limited edition of this work, numbered 363 of 900 copies. Signed by the author. A printed manuscript, which gives an account of Friend's own experiences with birds in Bali. His wild illustrations are stylized depictions of many ornithological subjects and include owls, gryphons, crows, storks and garudas. A bright copy of this uncommon work.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. A few light spots to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
