What Our Customers Say...

Description

Author's Presentation Copy, Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, Very Scarce

The first edition of this very scarce, Limited Edition work.

Inscribed 'To Charles & Steffi with all good wishes, June, 1995, Peter Weevers' to the colophon. Numbered 83 of 500 copies produced, and further flat signed by Weevers to the same leaf.

With a further letter from Weevers, the illustrator, loosely inserted. It reads 'Dear Charles & Steffi, I enclose another 'rare treasure'. A relic from the past that I thought you might like to add to your collection. The history of this one is a comic tragedy itself - or nightmare!'.

Weevers does not further explain the tragedy of this work, but it may explain the scarcity of the book.
