    Description

    Publishers' Original Binding, With Slipcase

    This folio society edition is illustrated by Ingahild Grathmer and Eric Fraser.  Inhahild Fraser is a pseudonym for Margarethe II of Denmark, and she sent Tolkien her Lord of the Rings drawing when she was a crown princess. 

    Comprising all three Lord of the Rings novels, 'The Fellowship of the Ring', 'The Two Towers' and 'Return of the King'.

    Rare in such a lovely condition.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original binding. Externally, in an excellent condition with just a few small spots to the spine of 'Return of the King'. Slipcase is in a fine condition. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are bright. A few small spots to the fore-edge of 'Return of the King' not affecting pages. Otherwise pages are clean.
