First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

A former jockey, Francis' crime novels often feature characters and themes based around horse racing, often with industry professionals finding themselves in the centre of the scenario at hand. The two novels here are no exception, with both protagonists being ex-jockeys. The map found in the endpages of Trial Run bears the signature of one E. Grape.

Condition

In cloth binding with gilt detailing and original dustwrappers. Externally quite smart, there are some markings to the boards and rubbing to extremities. The dustwrappers have some minor rubbing to the extremities. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are bright and clean throughout.
