    The first edition, first impression.

    Signed by both the author and illustrator. Inscribed to the verso of the front endpaper, 'To Charles, with all good wishes, Richard Adams'. Inscribed to the title page, 'To Charles, with best wishes, Nicola Bayley'.

    A charming children's work set in Victorian England,  following a gentleman tiger and his son as they voyage into the unknown.  

    Illustrated colourfully throughout.

    In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, fine. Spine is very faintly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
