A facsimile edition. The work was first published by R. Ackerman in 1831. Collated complete, with a map, thirteen coloured plates and three fold out coloured plates. Thomas Talbot Bury was a British architect and lithographer. Bury's works included thirty-five churches and chapels, fifteen parsonages, twelve schools and twenty other large public buildings and private homes. In this work, Bury demonstrates a variety of the coaches and machines of the Liverpool and Manchester railway.
Condition
In a grey cloth binding with gilt detail. Externally in excellent condition. Slight wear to the extremities and head of the spine. Bumping to the tail of the spine resulting in some loss to the cloth. A few light marks to the boards. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
