A limited edition facsimile, limited to five-hundred copies, of which this is numbered four-hundred and nineteen.

In the original unclipped dustwrapper.

Illustrated with in-text illustrations throughout.

A lovely facsimile of an important early American work on fruit trees and the cultivation of various types of fruit. This work was the first book on pomogly written about American fruit trees.

The first edition, on which this facsimile is based, was published in 1817.

By William Coxe Junior, a pioneering pomologist. 

With an introduction and bibliography by H. Frederic Janson.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the extremities. A couple of faint marks to the boards. Dustwrapper is very lightly edge worn with a couple of light marks only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
