    The second and preferred edition, revised and enlarged. 

    Two volumes. Lacking 'Volume 3: Indexes, Appendices, Addenda and Corrigenda'. 

    This set includes volumes one and two, from A-H to I-Z, completing the bibliography. 

    This work was originally compiled by A. W. Pollard and G. R. Redgrave, with this edition begun by W. A. Jackson and F. S. Ferguson and completed by Katharine F. Pantzer. This work provides a detailed catalogue of books printed in 1475-1640 in England, Scotland and Ireland. This edition has been revised and enlarged, with around 10,000 more books added.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth with the original dust wrappers with 'Volume 2' clipped. Externally lovely with only slight shelf wear. The wraps are very smart with slight sunning to the spines, light handling marks, edge wear and very small closed tears to the head of the wraps and a closed tear to the tail of the front joint to 'volume 1'. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
