Bringing to light some forgotten treasures of the plant world, this work collects some of the greatest and most important images of flowers found in periodical publications of the past. Written by Alice Margaret Coats, a British watercolor painter, engraver, woodcut artist, and author.
Condition
In the original red cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart with light wear to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Previous owner's bookplate to the front endpaper with bookseller's label to the front pastedown.
